The Give Basic Needs Solution
To process massive volume without bottlenecks, we run 10 identical units in parallel. Our proprietary Digital Clipboard Model (passing a single smartphone with the patient's record) structurally eliminates the need for 30 extra scribes, saving massive budget lines on stipends and transport while guaranteeing accurate data flow into ERPNext.
The Single "Clinic Unit" Architecture
Tap any station below to view the precise mechanical rules and psychological intent underpinning the Give Basic Needs model.
Front: The Scribe
Non-Medical Support (1 per unit)
Mechanical Action
Verifies wristband color, searches ID in Shield App, initiates digital file on a fresh smartphone, and hands it to Row 1.
Psychological Intent
Acts as the digital gatekeeper. By absorbing administrative friction, they allow medical contractors to focus entirely on the human being.
Row 1: Vitals & Triage
Vitals Contractor
Mechanical Action
Receives phone, takes blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Logs data, hands phone to Row 2.
Psychological Intent
The first clinical touchpoint. Has a luxurious 4 minutes to look the patient in the eye, establish rapport, and set a calming tone.
Row 2: Blood Draw
Draw Contractor
Mechanical Action
Safely performs finger prick/blood draw. Places test and phone on the "Curing Grid". Directs patient to waiting chair 1-4.
Psychological Intent
Manages the physical pivot point. Splits time between safe biohazard handling (2m) and actively calming nerves (2m).
The Curing Grid
Decoupled Wait Area
Mechanical Action
Patient sits in numbered chair (1-4) directly behind row while test cures on corresponding table square (1-4) with their phone.
System Optimization
Decoupling the 15-minute wait from the medical table instantly frees the station for the next patient, eliminating bottlenecks.
Row 2: Results Read
Results Contractor
Mechanical Action
Retrieves phone and test from Curing Grid when timer sounds. Reads result, logs it, calls patient from numbered chair.
Psychological Intent
Requires highest EQ on the floor. Spends 30s reading, and 3.5 minutes holding space—celebrating negatives or supporting positives.
Row 3: Vaccination
Immunization Contractor
Mechanical Action
Administers Hep B vaccine, logs it, manages sharps, and provides brief post-vax advice before moving patient to Row 5.
Psychological Intent
Operates the "Happy Path". Patients are deeply relieved. The interaction is highly efficient, joyful, and assuring.
Row 4: Heavy Consult
Advanced Consult (2 total per clinic)
Mechanical Action
Receives Positive patients escorted by a Flow Navigator. Delivers diagnosis (Hep B, C, HIV), discusses treatments, before guiding patient to Row 5.
Psychological Intent
The ONLY station that is never rushed. Service time is dictated entirely by the patient's emotional and medical needs. To fulfill this critical role, applicants should hold an active designation as a Medical Provider (MD, DO, NP, or PA) or have an educational background in Behavioral Health.
Row 5: Inventory Distribution
Inventory & Pharmacy Contractor
Mechanical Action
Receives patient from Row 3 or 4. Uses Shield App to log specific inventory given via boolean checkboxes. Dispenses items. Phone Runner collects the device here.
ERPNext Data Payload
Replaces legacy "Deworming" field. Checkboxes map to exact Item IDs: multivitamins, malaria_trt, smc, ivermectin, albendazole_adult, albendazole_child, pads, condoms, soap, wound_care.
Psychological Intent
The final touchpoint. Ensures every single patient leaves equipped not just with diagnoses or vaccines, but with tangible, dignified physical provisions for immediate health improvements in their community.
